OWH179 ~ A Sketch Challenge ~

Good Friday morning to ya!  Hope you and yours had a wonderful 4th of July holiday!  We are in the final throes of wedding preparation.  The big day is Sunday, so please remember the entire Ulrich clan and our new daughter-in-law to be.  There's a ton of stuff to do.  Son and fiancé are troupers and I know the Lord will bless this union.  Stay tuned for proud MIL photos....

In the meantime, I want to share a card I created with this week's Operation Write Home sketch in mind.  The sketch....

and my take on it...

Using Our Daily Bread Designs' To the Lovebirds set

and coordinating Bird Cage & Banner Dies

I used black card stock for the base and matting.  All DP may be found in My Mind Eye's Vintage Finds collection.  I stamped the bird cage and bird images on Copic compatible paper, die cut them and lightly colored them with Copics to create more depth.  The "spray" was colored also and the ribbon covered with glitter glue for added bling.  A mulberry spray and foliage complete the look.

A fun sketch to try and a fabulous stamp set to work with.

Thanks for stopping in!

Hugs
